On Tuesday, January 22, 2008, Ongo and I celebrated our third anniversary. I cannot believe that we have been married for three years--and it is even harder to believe that Caleb will celebrate his second birthday in a few weeks! I must admit that even though sometimes married life is difficult, it is much better than the whole dating thing. There were times that I never thought I was going to find my prince charming, but I did!

This year, I decided to be creative and I wrote down 50 things that I love about Ongo on little hearts and then I put them all over the wall in our bedroom. We had a fun time laying on the bed with Caleb by us while he read all the things that I had written.

That night, we had the missionaries over for dinner. I made a roast and then for dessert I made Chocolate Crunch Brownies. The missionaries gave be a nice compliment by telling me that I am a good cook. They asked Ongo how he stays so skinny when I am such a good cook :) I had to laugh because my family always used to say that I was going to be a lousy wife because I NEVER used to cook. I find now, though, that I really enjoy being in the kitchen. It is relaxing to me and I especially enjoy cooking for others!
