I am not usually a crafty person, but I decided to try and be creative with Caleb's cake this year. I decided to make a train, so after looking online for several ideas (gotta love the internet), I got started. I made a cake in a 9 x 13 pan and then cut it up into rectangles. Then I arranged my rectangles to form the train.

The first car I decorated was the engine.

Another view of the completed engine.

Then I did the middle car.

The other side of the two completed cars.

Here are all the completed cars--I forgot to take a picture of just the three cars without the decorations--oops! Here I am adding the details.

And--voila! The finished product!

Another view.

I think that I did a pretty good job--if I do say so myself!

More presents for Caleb.

Happy family!

Caleb blowing out the candle again--he LOVES blowing out candles!
