On Tuesday, September 1, our ward took a trip to the Kona Hawaii Temple. We decided to take Sosiua and leave Caleb with his Uncle Helu and Auntie Mona. It was just a quick day trip. We left at 5:00 a.m. and got home about 9:00 p.m. It was so nice to be in the Temple again. We have not gone since the Laie Temple closed for renovations last December, so it has been a LONG time--too long!
Sosiua did very well. He slept through both flights and was very good all day. Ongo and I took turns watching him while the other went in the Temple. It worked out very well and was a very good day, but I do miss having a Temple on the same island as us!
