Ongo had the T.V. on tonight and we heard the news about the earthquake/tsunami in Japan. It was still early enough that Hawaii was still just under a tsunami watch--now we are under a full-blown tsunami warning. Before they even made it a warning, I was watching the tsunami hit Japan and it was just an eerie feeling watching it unfold. I really feel that this time we will get hit with more than what happened last year.
On the news they just said that people are still partying in the streets of Waikiki. The tsunami is not supposed to hit until three o' clock in the morning, but still. I filled up a bunch of containers with water--just in case. You never know--better to be safe than sorry. I am really grateful that we do not live in an evacuation zone.
Well, I am sure there will be more news later. I just really felt like writing because the boys are all sleeping and I am having a difficult time falling asleep.
